Maria DeBlassie earned her B.F.A. in Creative Writing from UNM and went on to earn both her M.A. and Ph.D. in Eighteenth- and Nineteenth-Century Literature from the University of Washington. When not teaching, she is writing and blogging about everyday magic, radical self-care, and simple pleasures. Her first book, Everyday Enchantments, published by U.K. press Moon Books, recently won the 2018 Pinnacle Book Achievement Award for the New Age Category.
