Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our EUREKA Summer program 2020 has been canceled
WHO: High academic-achieving high school juniors and incoming seniors for the 2020-2021 school year with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or higher. Participants with an interest in experiencing active learning, gaining college success strategies and leadership skills and participating in community engagement.
WHAT: EUREKA! is an immersive summer program organized by the UNM Honors College aimed at introducing prospective students to UNM through an immersive high impact learning experience. Participants will have a packed week of fun hands on activities, field trips, research, instruction, and recreation!
WHERE: Instruction will be coordinated out of the UNM Honors College and will include coordinated activities with the College of Engineering, Health Sciences, College of Business, Library Sciences, and various others within the University.
WHEN: May 31st-June 6th 2020. Participants will check in Sunday May 31st by 4:00pm and check out Saturday June 6th by 4:00pm. Chaperones will reside onsite and will accompany participants to all activities.
COST: Upon notification of acceptance into the program, student must submit a non-refundable program fee of $500 within 5 business days of acceptance is required to reserve a place in the program (unless a scholarship has been awarded).
