Honors College Discovery Series: One-Word Poems & Silence of the Page with Orlando White, November 11th

Orlando White's Honors College Discovery Lecture features a poetry reading and discussion of the creation of his one-word poems as well as how to utilize silence within the page. Orlando is the author of LETTERRS (2015) and Bone Light (2009), 39598842_orlando_white-bw.jpga collection of poems Kazim Ali described as a “careful excavation on language and letters and the physical body.” White’s work has appeared in such journals as Ploughshares, the Kenyon Review, and Salt Hill. Orlando is the recipient of a residency from the Lannan Foundation. He is a professor at Diné College in Tsaile, Arizona.
