Honors Alumni Legacy Fund

The Honors Alumni Legacy Fund gives Honors College leadership the flexibility to respond to current opportunities and the greatest needs of the college. Gifts can support student programming, facilities and equipment, academic fees, conferences, travel, and other educational experiences. The Honors Alumni Legacy Fund allows alumni to give in the most flexible way possible, providing needed support to a variety of Honors College activities.

 Honors College Research Institute

The Honors Research Institute (HRI) supports the close collaboration between students and faculty that is at the heart of the Honors College experience. Gifts can help fund data collection, fieldwork, travel, equipment, and other costs associated with mentored student research projects.

Honors College Study Abroad Programs

Study abroad can transform the college experience. Students have oopportunities to take learning beyond the classroom through immersive international experiences in Spain, Ecuador, Japan and Scotland. Your gift helps offset program costs and provide scholarships, so more Honors students can participate in international study, including those who would otherwise not be able to take advantage of these opportunities.

Scribendi: Jackie Schlegel Endowment

Scribendi is the Honors College's award-winning literary and arts publication, created by Honors students. Through a year-long course, students gain hands-on experience in writing and editing, graphic design and typography, fundraising and marketing, distribution, and small business management. Scribendi showcases poetry, creative nonfiction, short fiction, foreign language, visual art, digital art, photography as well as other media.

Honors Student Research: Rosalie Otero Student Research Scholarship

One of Dr. Otero’s ambitions for the Honors College was to establish a research center to support and fund Honors students projects. This endowment is a first step toward both realizing that ambition and honoring Rosalie’s contribution to the lives and work of students faculty and staff from so many schools over more than 25 years.

Sometimes student success starts with something simple: a snack, school supplies, hygiene products, or other daily necessities. Brain Fuel is a community-driven resource that provides free snacks and essentials for the Honors College community. Your support helps keep this resource stocked and accessible.
