Honors College Alumni Fall Book Club

The UNM Honors College welcomes Honors College alumni, their families, and friends to our fall book club. We'll be discussing Orbital by Samantha Harvey, an eloquent meditation on space and life on our planet through the eyes of six astronauts circling the earth in 24 hours. Orbital is a winner of the 2024 Booker and Ursula K. Le Guin Prizes and a New York Times Book Review Book Club Pick.

Medium chile is on the menu as we fire up the roasters for the UNM Alumni Denver Chapter Green Chile Roast at Dion's Pizza in Aurora. Presented in partnership with Bueno Foods, this annual tradition is your chance to stock up on fresh-roasted green chile, support student scholarships, and connect with fellow Lobos in the Mile High City. Meet Honors College Dean Naomi Yavneh Klos and pick up your chile for the season. Reservations are required.

Honors College Alumni Homecoming Celebration & Awards

The UNM Honors College welcomes Honors College alumni, their families, and friends to its annual Homecoming Open House. Enjoy an informal courtyard gathering with food and beverages, remarks from the Dean, recognition of Distinguished Alumni and Young Alumni award recipients, and a Scribendi student-led silent auction benefiting the Honors College's creative arts magazine. Reservations are required.
Honors College Alumni Spring Book Club
