Rhythm Stone is a passionate and dedicated scholar who has made a significant impact during their time at UNM. As an avid film enthusiast, Rhythm spends much of their academic life diving deep into the world of cinema, particularly exploring the rich history of animation. Although they haven’t yet broken into the film industry, Rhythm has a natural talent for crafting stories and screenplays, always eager to learn and expand their knowledge.
In the Honors College, Rhythm is known for their leadership, community-building efforts, and unwavering advocacy. They actively take charge in class discussions, making sure everyone feels comfortable and included. In addition to their leadership in class, Rhythm has been proactive in fostering a sense of community among their peers. “I’ve tried to ensure Discord servers for some courses stay active and engaged,” they explain, demonstrating their commitment to keeping students connected even outside of the classroom. Their work in community-building has helped students feel more supported and involved in their academic journey.
Additionally, Rhythm has worked diligently to ensure that the Honors College is a welcoming and accessible part of campus for everyone, advocating for changes that benefit the entire community.
