Course Description
This is a one credit hour Honors College course designed to support students who are in mentoring and leadership roles in the college. It is a cohort style class. We meet once a month to support the work that you are doing otherwise in your service/leadership positions. We have fun, learn from each other, study leadership, and provide a means to earn academic credit for the work that you are doing throughout the semester.

About the Instructor(s):
Ryan Swanson
Ryan Swanson is a Professor and currently the Chair in the Honors College at UNM. He also serves as the Director of the Lobo Scholars Program. Ryan has published widely on the role of athletics in the United States. In the classroom, he teaches courses on sports, history, and failure. During the pandemic, Ryan was one of those professors who frequently forgot to unmute himself while talking on Zoom.
