Dance Your Major
Small Bites - 1 Credit Hour - UHON 375

Instructor(s): Bridgit Luján

Course Description

Dance Your Major is an opportunity to conceive, express, and share the main concepts of your degree through movement. In the course you will make a short film that describes your major through interpretive dance. The idea for this course is based on the international competition “Dance your PhD” in which science students design dances to illustrate their dissertation research. For this class ALL majors are welcome and you do not need to have prior skills or experience with film or dance. This is an opportunity to get out of your head and conceptualize your studies with a body and movement connection.
