Honors College Emergency Scholarship

The Honors College Emergency Scholarhsip is provided to honors students in good standing who need emergency funds to aid in continuing the purshuit of their academic goals. Please see below for additional information.

• Submit the application form, including the personal statement (required, 200-500 words) and supporting documentation (optional).
• Once the form is reviewed and verified as complete, an Honors College staff member will contact the student within 5-7 business days to follow up.
• If selected, funds will be disbursed through the student’s bursar’s account.

• The application is available on a rolling basis throughout the fall and spring semesters.
• Students can apply at any point during the semester to request funds.

Please note: ALL students applying for this scholarship must be admitted into the UNM Honors College and must have successfully passed at least one honors course to be eligible.
