Bridgit Lujan

Bio:

An internationally celebrated creative artist Bridgit has performed in Morocco, Spain, Costa Rica and throughout the U.S. Bridgit is a UNM alumni with an MBA in International Management and an MA in Dance History.  She received an MFA in Choreography from Wilson College, an interdisciplinary liberal arts college.  In 2022 she was selected for a Fulbright Junior Faculty Research Award to Sevilla, Spain.
She has received a number of awards from UNM including the 2016 Inspirational Young Alumnus Award, a 2016 Young Alumni Hall of Fame award from UNM’s Anderson School of Management, and a 2018 Paul Bartlett Ré Peace Prize Career Achievement award. 
Bridgit has taught in higher education for over 20 years, joining the Honors College as part-time faculty in 2021. At CNM, where Bridgit also teaches she was awarded the 2020 Distinguished Faculty Award for the Humanities Department.
Bridgit is a journalist for the renowned NYC dance periodical Dance Magazine.
